Gratitude In the Uncertainty

Updated: Dec 30, 2020

It’s hard to know what to say in times like these. There are so many uncertainties.

During this time our family has made a point of focusing on what we can control and doing the best with what we have. We are challenging ourselves to practice gratitude, even for the small things. The familiarity of our daily routine of caring for our animals and land is a blessing we get to continue to daily, even during these disruptive times.

You may wonder about the picture, funny for a meat business, but today it was one of our family’s highlights. Our oldest daughter, whom we often refer to as ‘Bug Girl’, in reference to her fascination with even God’s smallest of creatures, uncovered this “city of lady bugs”. It was as good as a pot of gold to her! Gratitude, even for the smallest of things.

This last week has been unprecedented for our small meat business. We thank you for your confidence in our product. We feel fortunate to be able to provide a nutritious meat product from our family’s farm to your family’s table.

I was able to re-inventory our pork products today, and our website is updated accordingly. We still have a good bit of sausage and some other select cuts. As you can see, we still have some beef, chicken and lamb as well. Please let us know if we can provide you with any additional meat products during this time. Pickup is available at our farm on SR 240 and at the Brock family farm on US 40.

We will have more pork available mid April. If there is something specific you would like at that time, please let me know.

Thank you for your patronage.

Sincerely,

Beth Tharp
