Merry Christmas Reflections

Updated: Jan 23, 2022

From our family to yours, we want to wish you a Merry Christmas!

We have much to celebrate in the hope and promise of our Savior Jesus Christ, reflecting on his birth and the tremendous promise it and his subsequent sacrifice brought.

As we are sure many of you can relate, the last two years have really been a bit of a whirlwind. Covid-19 seemed to be the tip of the iceberg in what set about a tremendous number of obstacles for many. Though we feel very fortunate as to how our farm has fared; supply chain shock, inflation, and illness has not totally evaded the farm. We have worked hard to do our best to navigate these challenges and continue to try and remain adaptable as new obstacles approach. We appreciate our loyal customer base during these times. No contact porch pickup and home delivery of our farm raised products have been a natural fit in this evolving landscape.

Through all the uncertainty, our family’s mantra has been to stick the course and do the best with what we have. At the end of the day, we know God has entrusted us with a great deal. Whether it be our farm team members, land, water, animals, family, community, financial or other resources, we will work to do our best to steward them to the best of our ability. In the end, we know they are not ours; we simply have been entrusted to do our best with them during our time on earth.

We hope each of you have an enjoyable holiday season. We challenge you to give thanks for the many things you have been entrusted with. Enjoy your time with family and friends.

I leave you with a picture of our family's humble cedar Christmas tree, a family tradition, harvested from our farm.

My best,

Beth Tharp
