Beef, Barley and Mushroom Soup

Beef, Barley and Mushroom soup in the slow cooker is so easy and filling on a cold winter day.

  • Layer LT Farms stew beef, onion, carrot, celery and 1/2-1 cup barley in your slow cooker.

  • Season with salt and pepper.

  • Add water to cover plus a couple of inches more.

  • Cook on low or high (depending on how soon you want it done) until meat is tender.

  • Stir in 1/2 to 1 C barley and let it cook until tender.

  • Slice in mushrooms 10 mins. before serving.
