For those that know me well, you know that if given the choice between farm chores and kitchen; I would rather be out amongst the animals and the land. But as kids started gathering around our dinner table, I have learned the importance of this special opportunity. Not only in providing wholesome, homecooked meals for their growing bodies, but also the value of good conversation, relationship building and character development.

And as time has gone on, it's not only those kids that gather around our table, but friends, extended family and team members from our farm. Whether it be a Sunday afternoon, or Holiday feast, these shared times and opportunities to host are valuable and embedded in our core value of relationships.

No surprise, but typically at the heart of our meal is a homegrown meat option, many times surrounded by homegrown vegetables recently harvested or preserved. As you plan for your holiday gatherings, or simple Sunday dinners I am excited

to share with you four time-tested recipes that have been met with approval out of our humble farm kitchen.
